Ars sacra
During the last years we received orders from both a protestant and a catholic church in Bonn and Cologne, Germany.
These are some pictures of the work, the only ones I could get ahold of at the moment.
The interesting part of this process was the fact that father Palling, who commissioned the work, is well versed in art and and likes my scupltures. He accepted my condition to rethink the shape of the thurible that has been repeated throughout ten centuries. We had lengthy discussions, both interesting and fruitful, giving way to a real collaboration.
The German publication Gottesdienst wrote about these works in their 14/15 issue (in German).
